Neiler

Player Valuation: £100m
According to Vladimir Stojkovic agent the serbian international goalkeeper currently second choice at Sporting Lisbon will sign for Everton on loan for the season with the option of a permenet deal at the end of the season, all that is to be compleated is the usual redtape.

Agent Zoran says: "I can confirm that Everton have made a bid for Stojkovic. It was the Everton manager himself, David Moyes, who spoke to me. The offer is a season-long loan, with an option to purchase the player definitively at the end of this period. The transfer fee is likely to be between 2.5 an 3 million euros. At this moment we’re just waiting for the visa to be able to travel. Things should be sorted out shortly. ‘Stoi’ is really excited about the possibility of going to England. What Stojkovic wants is to play, and if he goes to Everton he will fight hard with Howard to earn a starting place."

Really dont understand the need and apparent rush for a 4th keeper? We've already got decent back up keepers with potential who are gonna leave if everytime a place opens on the bench Moysey goes out and gets another keeper on loan.

Gonna miss James Blunt though :(

not necessary, if we keep doing this we risk losing 2extremely talented young keepers, sooner or later they will wanna play football

Both our young keepers have roughly 100 senior appearances under their belts. Sure they're not in the top league but we can't use experience as a reason for not putting them on the bench, especially after the way the young keeper at Man City did last season.

The gaffer obviously doesnt think their good enough. An he see's them in training most days. I trust his view. if we need another keeper, Get the lad in.

in a keeper crisis at the business end of the season we would be more than happy this guy signed.

What a terrible signing that would be. What's the point of even having Turner and Ruddy? Pointless. John Ruddy is a good keeper and how do we show faith? By wanting to buy another keeper ffs... And no they're not too young. Young keepers deliver when given chances, just look at Joe Hart at City.

Would be a completely pointless signing and a waste of money.

Turner dropped the ball against Man Utd. Case closed.

Only kidding, but I dont have a problem with Moyes buying a backup keeper. Maybe he rates him more than the two younger ones. And so what if he does?

Good news. We definatly need a second choice goalkeeper.

Ruddy and Turner are nowhere near ready. There not actually excellent prospects either, there decent keepers with alot of work needed. Why would they want to sit on the bench and play 5 games a season when they can go out on loan and develop. There too inexperienced for me.

Vladimir Stojkovic is coming here as a stop gap. Someone who is willing to sit on the bench and play 5/6 games a season.

spot on, if howard was injured in a european game i wouldn't want turner or ruddy coming on, esp. after turner's shennanigans last time he played

I'd feel much more confident with this lad then with Turner.

Ruddy seems decent though and should be loaned out for a full season.

i dont understand this move totally.

stojkovic wants to leave his club becouse he doesnt get enough games apparently. so in that case how will he be any happier playing second fiddle to howard ?

also just to mention , i think ruddy is gonna be top class , he just needs a bit of faith from moyes and given a game or 2. as for turner , i think hes a donkey.eeeeeawww.
