1967 (I think this photo is from the match) Went with my old man who is from Leeds and supports United, it was he best day of my life(Don't tell the wife) and despite being aged 7 at the time I still remember it vividly. It was a disappointing result but that made no matter to me, the smell, sight and sounds will stay with me forever.
We got the ferry from the Wirral and to round the day off I got steak and Kidney pie and chips from the chippy on the way home.

That's why ex pros hated playing us back then
Bring it back !

My Eldest lad was 2-0 v Derby in about 1990, Shilton was in goal for them.

My youngest lad was 7-1 v Sunderland in 2007, unfortunately he thought all games were that easy, I always remember the crowd singing
'keano give us a wave surprisingly he didn't!)

My first at Goodison was against Leicester City in the late 50s 59 I think. Albert Dunlop was in goal and we lost 3-1, my dad gave me and my brother
the money to go to see Liverpool Res, but we went to Goodison in the boys pen instead and the rest is history!

My first game at goodison was March 94 against spurs. Lost 1-0. Old Park end had been knocked down by then. First away was against spurs 1-1 the year we stayed up on last day against Coventry.

Pretty sure it was Sheffield Wednesday at home. I remember they wore yellow.
Think the final score was 2-2.
I'm guessing this was early in the 87-88 season.
The stewards used to let my dad just lift me over the turnstile cos I was too small to make it turn round on my own.

First game at Goodison was against sheffield wednesday. Turned up late from down south so missed Jeffers' opener in the 9th minute, celebrated it in the car. By the time we arrived all the turnstiles were closed, the kind staff managed to get us in the ground in spare seats in the family enclosure. Must of been 20 minutes through by then. Saw sheffield wednesday score, then went to the loo (escorted by a parent) in the 2nd half and heard a roar, wednesday had scored again. Full time, 2-1, missed the majority of the goals, we had lost, best day out ever. Went to the club shop after and got a pair of everton goalie gloves and an everton football, don't even play in goal my aunt had just bought me the keepers kit for christmas!

this was the game:

First games I have full memories of were the 4-4 derby and a 5-3 home loss to QPR.
Then the Wimbledon game. Still got the programme from that one.
Then the cup run in 95 when I was 11. Missed the third round (in Bristol I think) but every other game was at home (4/5/6) then Leeds then Wembley, went to them all. I had a lucky scarf which my dad got me at the 4th round game. Decided i'd only wear it for the FA cup ties because we won that day, no other games. It fell off my neck and into the urinal trough at half time at Wembley. Never picked it up obviously, so it was the 95 FA Cup scarf.
RIP scarf.
