If its lagging or your getting adverts it is possible it has been hijacked by malware
go to tools at the top of the browser

look in Extensions or plugins you will find the culprits in there
disable anything that looks like Aids or Aki's arsehole

Sounds like AIDS. I use Firefox and have done for years. Won't change now because I'd have to actually know my passwords for stuff. Not had any crashing issues with it but I'm running ad blocking and script blocking ad ons, so my browsing of new sites can be a bit slower but I feel safer.

I used Firefox until I was unable to access a whole lot of videos and media as the latest updated version at that time was buggy with lots of scripting errors, yet Chrome worked fine. Would go back but all my passwords are on Chrome, and cba sorting all that out. Besides I think I find chrome slightly more user friendly.

has it gone really shiz recently or is it my lappy full of rude lady aids?

Lappy keeps freezing and going slower than than everton attacking move

Try disabling the Flash Add-In, that's normally the culprit.
See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/988836 for more details

If it behaves itself with Flash disabled then it can be a nightmare to sort and it's actually easier to uninstall it and start again

I've just downloaded the Opera and iLunascape browsers for the iPad, have to say at the moment Opera has Chrome licked on this platform. No review for iLunascape as yet, will report back. BTW, both have PC versions.

Problem I find with browsers is that they are all flawed in some way. IE, well it's microsoft which is a bad, bad thing but it works well with Windows which most of us are stuck with on PC's and laptops, is crap on Apples. Google Chrome is OK but is often slow on Windows and Apple operating systems. Firefox, enough said! Safari works very well on Apple but struggles on Windows.

So at the end of the day, make a choice on what you want and stick with it. I use IE on all windows applications and Safari/Chrome on Apple.

Haha! MS just announced IE is being taken out behind the barn and given both barrels.
