Could our last game at Goodison also be the end of the road for some of the pre-match watering holes? For some they must have made a killing on match days that would help them through the spells between matches.
They're already closing. Off the top of my head, Springfield Inn and St Hilda's to name a couple.Could our last game at Goodison also be the end of the road for some of the pre-match watering holes? Always makes me smile too, but then again if it's not going through the books and they're not paying a fee to whatever contactless gadget they have to wave at you every time you buy a pint, maybe that keeps the price down for us customers.Course it will be. The cash only rules crack me up on match day.
Can't be, if you've put in for tickets for the test events and dont make the cut for the first 2Unless of course this will be the as yet unannounced 3rd test event....![]()
Loads of pubs around ground to watch it in and be at ground later. As there's gonna be loads of people locked out trying to get in to goodison, is it not possible for the club to put up a big screen at the new stadium for those locked out? Pretty sure that would help with crowd control. Just putting it on here in case anyone has anyone's ear.
Nice idea but for my that day isn’t about the football. Hopefully also the result will not matter (in a good way).As there's gonna be loads of people locked out trying to get in to goodison, is it not possible for the club to put up a big screen at the new stadium for those locked out?
