Final game at Goodison - confirmed Sunday 18 May, 12PM

The decline of the area wlll be complete once Everton have left.
It's not working now with Everton there tbf, real chance for regeneration if the Goodison site is redeveloped well enough, breathe new life into the area.

The better run pubs will survive, but there'll definitely be closures, there's more pubs around there than pretty much anywhere in the city (outside of town).

Genuine question, is anyone taking their seat at the last home game? I've already looked and to get the plastic seat and plastic back off, it'll take 2mins tops. A few screws and nuts. I'm planning on taking mine, but I thought everyone was? Now I'm worried I'll be stopped.
Years ago I knew someone who took a few seats from the old park end prior to rebuild.
Different times now, I’d be surprised if they let people do it on the day. But they won’t be scrapped, they’ll sell every single thing they can. And I’m not talking about the players.

With the chaos that will go on with pitch invasions and people trying to grab a bit of grass, I'd be very surprised if anyone even noticed or was arsed about you quietly removing your seat and leaving with it.
There's not near enough staff to control the crowd if there's major goings on.

Grabbing a a bit of grass in some parts of Goodison isn’t that unusual 😆.

It will be like vultures on a hippo carcass on the last day

They want to hold some events at Goodison after the last league game so I think they will mind. Not sure what they can do to stop it, but bearing in mind 31k are ST holders and they could threaten they'll take their BMD one away, then it might be enough to prevent it.

They should just offer it beforehand for a nominal fee if you come collect at a time of the club's choosing to save the chaos.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the opportunity to buy your seat, for a reasonable fee, comes available within a month or two.
