You can't think like that mate.

We all knew the score, and some were lucky and others not so lucky.

It is what it is. It's nice to hear so many who were successful rather than being unsuccessful and being ripped off from ticket touts.

You’re right, doesn’t seem fair at all. I’ve been to two last year, one this, and got one. I live down south and work an 81 hour week so even though I’d absolutely love to get to more, I just can’t. I’ve always been jealous of those lucky enough to live more local to get to more games. If I win the lottery, my first port of call is buying a house in L4!

More so really. Obviously proper touts who buy up tickets deliberately to make a profit are a different thing, but I have absolutely no issue with a genuine fan saying i'll give up my ticket if you're willing to pay me an utterly stupid amount of money for it. That's totally on the buyer for me, and I feel like there's been a bit of an unfair backlash against fans who are willing to sell. A grand is a hell of a lot of money for a lot of people, if some fans create a market for it I don't blame people who decide the money is too good to turn down. I wouldn't do it myself like, but I totally understand why some would.

Agree…and we’re not all bad people for wanting to buy! Lifelong fan but live in the states and would like to get back for the final game. Keeping my eye on the resale sites. Hope everyone has a great day at the match

Yeah sorry if I didn’t make that clear, I don’t blame people for wanting to buy them either. I just think there’s been a lot about ‘ripping fellow blues off’ and all that but I don’t think it’s that simple. Nobody’s forcing anyone to buy it, if you’re willing to pay a grand then you’re willing to pay a grand aren’t you. Like if you were offering money to buy mine you’re not just buying A ticket, you’re buying MY ticket, meaning I can’t go. On that basis the paper value of the ticket is irrelevant, it’s a matter of how much being at that game is worth to the both of us. As I said, this doesn’t apply to people deliberately buying in order to sell, just to people who might think the opportunity to earn a grand is too good to turn down.
