Wheres the lemo lad?

Gotta laugh, just seen that Dave Kelly of the fans forum or whatever now kicking off because it's early on a Sunday, when they campaigned to make sure it was on a Sunday instead of the Monday.

Why did the club insist on it not being the last day.

Why did the fans kick off over the prospect of a night game.

Last day all games are played at the same time. They wanted it to not be hidden by the winning of the inbreds or relegation drama.

This made sense to me.

12pm kickoff on a Sunday doesn't but heyho.
I think it was more down to the worry we'd be in a last day relegation battle ourselves after the last few seasons!

Just read on TW Soton have taken the full allocation of 2,976 ,fair play to them if true but they won't be happy with the ko time. And wait till they see the hotel prices for Sat night

from Soton official website _
Saints take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday 18th May 2025 – 12:00pm Kick-off, live on TNT Sports. We have received the maximum allocation of 2,976 tickets.

With the high profile surrounding this game, we will be forcing the final 500 tickets sold, as well as a random 500 tickets, to be collected from Goodison Park with photographic ID. Supporters selected for collection, will receive details around the process via email, by Friday 2nd May. As a reminder, away tickets should not be passed or sold on and should be used only by the named assigned to the ticket at the time of purchase. The club reserves the right to withhold any tickets that are being collected by someone not matching these details.

A memorable day for every Evertonian and should have been given the respect they deserve by being able to celebrate in style. This early kick off is a kick in the balls and gives no one any time to build up the atmosphere around the ground and streets along County rd. Anyone with a ticket will be inside about 10.30 ffs. The match itself is irrelevant.
Thought EFC might have complained but then again they never do.
