Anybody any idea what happened at other grounds?

At Cardiff they sold the seats at something like a tenner. They also had an auction for other iconic parts of the stadium like signs and that sort of thing. My cousin bought the old snack bar from the Grandstand for a song. It’s now a shed in his allotment!

Didn't the club sell off seats from the Lower Bullens/Paddock not too long ago (few years mind), when they changed them to new plastic seats

I have a vague recollection of that, but cant find any news articles, though there was an Echo story from 2016 about the red side selling their old seats to fans for £200 each. Thats probably £500 each in todays world.

Next game, get there 5mins earlier, inspect how your seat it fixed sort out what tools you need. How is it fixed to the concrete?
Next game +1 get there 10 mins earlier, have a trial run, try the spanners etc for size - you might need 2, maybe a spanner and a little socket rachet.

Officially sold, with a certificate of authenticity, would bring revenue into the club. 30,000 x £100 = £3m.
