Tomori will be 22 soon and was player of the season at a Championship side. Not ideal, but a far safer bet than Gibson or Ampadu

Yet Ampadu has played more times for the Chelsea 1st team as is now on loan to a champions League team.

Why don't you want their loans? They have the best academy in the country. Look at their loans. Loftus-Cheek excelled at Palace. Mason Mount and Tomori excelled at Derby. Abraham excelled at Villa and then Reece James excelled at Wigan.
