I found last years game so frustrating I still don't know wether to buy this or forza today!!

Started 'The Journey' last night.

I'm a sapper for realism so made him a Spurs fan. When the offer came in though, well I just couldn't resist picking Everton.

Do need to ask something though. I've only just done the first training session at Everton. Now off to the US but stopped there.

For anybody who has got further, whatever happens is it Kane that your club signs which means you drop down in the pecking order?

I know it's Di Maria if you select Arsenal or Spurs as your first club, but I dunno, would be a bit of a 'meh' for me if literally any club in the league signs one of the best strikers.

As I said, I'm a sapper for realism (I'm not a gamer at all other than FIFA - and even then it's sporadic tbh) but my OCD gets the better of me.

Would just be a bit of let down IMO if they've gone to so many lengths to make the game mode ultra realistic, only to then have Kane rock up at FF like we'd not just have signed a free agent from Scotland instead

i think the journey mode appears realistic but at the end of the day it follows a code so that you have to go through a certain route i.e.

you pick your club

you play pre-season for the club

you come on as a sub in the clubs first important game

you end up getting loaned out because your either not good enough or because they are bringing in a star player who will get more game time than you

you go on loan and choose 1 of 3 team

you play for your loan club

you get to the january transfer window and get recalled because your former best mate gaz walker has gonna all primma donna

you get your shot in the first team at the club you love

that's as far as I have got so far

Just played out first game of career mode. Beat Spurs two one, Gueye in the last minute on the break!

Really enjoying this, only played one game on career (with Arsenal) beat RS 2-0 then signed Coutinho off them along with Alba and Dybala.
