Very much depends Ghost. We dont know the full story.

If he snubbed us - which I really do think he did then not a chance. He's not THAT good, he has his weaknesses - a big one that he can tend to go missing to easily.

Also the fee, definitely no more than 6m.

He needs us more than we need him.

Spot on mate.

Please oh Please dont let this be true.

Everton boss David Moyes is ready to sign Manuel Fernandes for a second time - and forgive him for a massive snub.

The Portuguese star snubbed the Goodison club to join Valencia in the summer after a successful loan spell last season and Moyes (inset) was furious about his decision.

But now the manager wants to take the talented 20-year-old midfielder on loan for the rest of the campaign after being tipped off that he is unhappy in Spain.

Fernandes has started just three games in La Liga and would welcome the chance of some first-team action.

Moyes needs an extra midfield recruit and a loan move would be perfect for his requirements. He has little money to spend and would jump at making Fernandes his second signing of the window.

But Fernandes would have to come on Moyes' terms - and not be guaranteed a game - as the Goodison gaffer is still smarting over what happened when the Portuguese jilted the club at the last minute.

But the move comes at the right time for Moyes, Everton and Fernandes, with the player's agent working on sorting out the terms on a move.

Moyes has asked some of the Everton players about the idea and most are in agreement that Fernandes would be an asset as they try to close on a Champions League finish.

Fernandes was a decent success in the side last time round, although there were questions about his fitness.

Problems over third-party ownership in his Benfica contract have been removed in the move to Valencia, so the switch should happen.

Everton are letting Scottish left-back Paddy Boyle go to Plymouth - as part of the deal to sign England youth starlet Dan Gosling.

Boyle has headed to Home Park and is set to sign on loan for the rest of the season and may be allowed to make his debut in the FA Cup.

The player has been unable to break into the Blues side, but Argyle boss Paul Sturrock thinks he will fit into his plans and the move could be permanent.

This lad just dont deserve it........Let him rot in spain.

Boyle out on loan, that's good. As for Manny, Moyes knows what he's doing. We all know what he can offer on the pitch, if Moyes can get him working well off the pitch then I'm all for it.

Their must be plenty other players out there who we could go for. If he does'nt play well early on he'll get slated by the fans. Even if he does play well he might still get slated!!

This could unbalance the team. If i was one of the players id tell he to Fukk off as soon as he walked in the dressing room.all the effort all season you put in, an this w@nker comes strolling back in. Not going to work i tell ya!!

What ever happen'd to never go back......

IF he snubbed/cheated/deceived us then DM WILL NEVER have him back but if the situation was out of Manny's hands then DM might just go for it.

I still say no one other than a handful of people know exactly what went on so we have to TRUST David Moyes's judgement.
DM has created a squad of players that have mutual respect for eachother, the last thing he would do would be to bring in an individual who could wreck that because of their unprofessional/sneaky behaviour.

IN MOYES I TRUST.

Ever think about the fact that Fernandes was not just owned by Benfica, and that the third party were dealing with a better deal from Valencia?

Yes i have.

He could have said NO.

I think its wishfull thinking......he wanted more money an more of a glammer side. Plus champions leage. I dont mind that, BUT dont string us along for the ride.

Ever think about the fact that he just fukked us off coz he's a greedy, snide horrible c**t??

Your just ready to forgive because you think he's a great player!! which he's not. He had a few good moments then nothing. 10 mins out of 90 in a game is not good enough for us.

You know as well as I do, that players don't say No. We've had our own fair share of players who have snubbed other clubs to come to us. Its just football.

I'm not going to be bitter about the situation. At the end of the day if Moyes wants him then he thinks he's a great player, and Moyes is more qualified than me or you to make that decision.

I'm not going to forgive for anything because quite frankly I couldn't care less. Same with Rooney, if he ever came back, I wouldn't be kicking off and forgiving him - I would just be happy that we have signed quality, and Fernandes my friend is quality.

I too fail to see what the fuss is about. Whenever I see Moyes on television or read his words in print the one thing that strikes me most of all about the man is his integrity. I get the overwhelming feeling that he's a good guy who goes about his work with honesty and candour. I have no qualms about leaving the moral stewardship of our club in his hands.

The same applies to Phil Neville, our captain. He's not born and bred Everton but he's from the same stock as Moyes and I think now he's probably as much an Evertonian as he is a Manc, if not more so. I feel confident that he would tell Moyes if he thinks a new arrival might mess up the dressing room. As would Cahill, or Carsley, or Yobo. We have a team full of leaders and of generally good guys.

We don't know all the facts of this situation, they do. If you're going to kick up a stink then you are essentially saying that you either know more than Moyes et al do or that you think they're numpties. I doubt anyone here really believes either of those so lets leave the managing to Moyes and not falling into the Toon trap of thinking we know it all.

Well fair enough, its only my opinion. I just think that wether it was manny or the agent or others, his chance came an went. Id look els where.

I am one of the people that would have preferred to let him rot after his antics, but I had a dream last night that Arteta-Manny-Cahill/Osman-Pienaar were playing in midfield and we were absolutely unbeatable on the attack. I don't want to say S.o.S but seriously it makes me feeld giddy seeing that line up.

He must be re-signed, he just has to be.

To sharpystoplip - Manny did try for his first few games, but then you could just see something was wrong with him. His heart wasn't in it so he never tried as hard as he should or we'd have liked him to have.
If he was on our payroll and being inspired by Pienaar and Arteta to be the player we all know he can be, and with Moyes man managing him. He'd be a damn fine player and a great addition to Everton.

I am sure more than meets the eye went on in his transfer so I'm willing to give him his due.
FWIW I also agree that Cahill, Yobo, Carsley etc would sort out any attitude or ill feeling in the dressing room.

Bring on the Manny. It must happen. I saw it in my dreams!
