its just the press putting two and two together and as usual coming up with bullshit. boro lose viduka, and we have a striker in need of a move, couple that with downing wanting euro exposure to get a shot at the england full for 2008 and suddenly one of the back pages is full.

I would hope not as well but some how the figures are looking a bit beyond us but perhaps Moyes is trying for a year's loan.

I half expect to see West Ham stomp up the asking price as they have money to burn

Lads me and Gaz were chating about this last night, im not 100% sure on Fernandes, yeah hes got the talent but hes very raw and i would say a good three seasons of being the finished article. Truth is i dont think hes worth the money its a big if wheather he fulfills his potential while his motivation for me s questionable. He needs a hell of a lot of coaching.

Im really becomig a fan of Reo Cooker hes been great in Holland and brings far more to a team than just being a player. If hes available for 7mill and Fernades for 12mill theres no contest Reo all the way.

Fernandez has loads of skill and we'll always remember "that goal" but IMO he gives the ball away in the wrong areas and pulled his tricks in silly places too many times. OK so he's young, he will learn and may well turn out to be a brilliant player. I'm not 100% sure but I think I'd prefer Reo-Coker, unfortunately his price will be increasing by the day now.

Mmm... When Ferandes signed i wasent quite sure. But hes turned out to be great. Benfica's asking price scared Porthsmouth off and by the looks of things, its scared us off to. If i was David moyes i would make him my first summer signing

Ok, here is a hypothetical situation. BK says to Moyes, you have 15million to get your players in. Now as we need around 3-4 players, does it make sense to blow 12 of your 15 on one guy??

Now, don't get me wrong, I would have liked Manny to have stayed with us, but it is no big deal that he hasn't, there are plenty more fish in the sea.

Agreed mate, Jag's for 4 mill and smith for 6 mill for example would cover 2-3 places and only cost 10 mill. (Def mid, att mid and Forward)

Cant see anything happening, but im sure Moyes may be looking at bringing him back?
