although i like fernande and think we should sign him , i think there are players who are looking for a move who are just as good if not better and at the same or cheaper price.

Apart from the one highlighted i would agree totally

yea i was a but iffy about bradley too.

but i liked mcbride and a lot of people say bradley is a better player than him.
also ive heard 5.5-6 million is the price.so not that bad for an international player.

ps other price qoutes..

arshavin- 8-10 million
joaquin 11-12 million
rodrigo palacio - 8 million
zhircov 7- 9 million
fernandes- 6 or 12 or 24 million (take your pick)

probably bs but there the figures ive found

Not many of the players mentioned are realistic bar Bradley. Most of them don't play in Fernandes's position.

I guarantee to everyone that we won't attract many better centre midifelders than Fernandes.

Lucho, same price better player, very realistic. Buy Ashavin, push Ossie in centre, better than Manny.

Lucho wouldn't join us. Not a chance. And I'd have a fully fit Fernandes over Lucho Gonzalez any day of the week. Fernandes is more highly rated in Portugal and a more talented player in my opinion.

Where would Arshavin play? Personally I don't think he's realistic either. Bigger teams will be after him in the summer than Everton. As much as I rate Osman he's not as good as Fernandes.

I tend to stick to the more realistic rumours. Players Moyes is definatly after and at the moment Sidwell, Bradley and Fernandes are the only centre midfielders that spring to mind.
