That was more like the way Jews were treated in Germany!

Not really - they (in the same way that the Spanish did) didnt organize their murder on a systematic basis, they just let it happen whilst they nicked their land, and then slapped them down when they tried to fight back.

That happened sometimes but some cases there were clear campaigns of what would now be called 'ethnic cleansing'. Particularly the annihilation of the Seminoles in Florida.

Indeed, but what the Germans did against the Jewish population of occupied Europe was industrialized murder on a scale that noone had or has ever done before. It is unique, and cannot really be compared against anything.

Yeah fair enough.

Reminds me of the show First 48. Real life homicide detectives solving crimes where generally the person killed was either dealing drugs or robbing people but they go to the family and they get talked up as a good person who loved their family and everyone liked.

Also protesters that loot lose any sort of validity to their protest. That's just plain theft.

Indeed - but it does establish character a bit doesn't it? It certainly flings into doubt the honour student innocent black guy gunned down by "whitey" portrayal by the rioters.

Rioters who, by the way, looted the store that the guy robbed in a rage that it dared to be robbed apparently.

Most of the rioters were not locals and rode on a perfectly legitimate protest.

The only true genocide carried out was by the British, in north America and Southern Africa

I understand what you're saying but our (anglo-american) wealth is pretty much entirely based on looting, both historical and contemporary.

More to it than meets the eye.

Firstly, the black lad robbed a story earlier in the morning.

Secondly, he was with an accomplice who "witnessed" the shooting but neglected to mention anything about the robbery. The truth of his witness account is very suspect.

Thirdly, the cop involved had no history whatsoever of being trigger happy and has given a very different story about what happened.

Not saying he wasn't killed unlawfully, but reluctant to jump to a conclusion. This could easily be "reverse racism" in action.

There is an ongoing attempt to dirty Brown's name. The police department admitted that the officer who shot him wouldn't have known that Brown was a suspect in the robbery considering it had just happened a few minutes previously.

Many eyewitnesses have also said that Brown was shot while surrendering.

Furthermore, journalists are being arrested and threatened for doing their job, a clear violation of the first amendment.

At the root of all of this is intolerance. it's a huge problem in the US and it's showing itself in incidents across the country. It comes equally from both sides of every issue - justice, inequality, education, economics, government, religion, culture, environment and on and on.

Until we find a way to overcome intolerance including the underlying ignorance, lack of rational, logical, and critical thinking, I can only see things getting worse.

Anyone who has a problem with the police has probably been behaving like a tit. All the good folk have no problem with them.
Sorry mate, but as someone who's been arrested, spent a night in a cell and gone through 2 interviews with bizzies telling me how much easier it would be if I just copped to the charge, for something that was total BS.. I'm just not having that.
