So we loan two players out with a total of £9-10m being potentially recouped, when the reality is we'll get 3 bob between them when it comes to the actual sale.

Love my life.

Shocking, He's just helped them win the league and they de-value him on the original agreed price doesn't make any sense. Hold outfor 4 or 5 i say if not welcome back joey hope you enjoy life in the reserves.

£4m is more like it. He doesn't want to come back to us, so he's likely to lower his wage demands to ensure that he gets a move.

Everton need to replace Joe Yobo and the money generated from his sale is needed for that replacement.2M will not buy anybody worthwhile, even in the championship.
4m is a fair price,if it isn't met then Yobo comes back to Everton and fights for his place.

£2 million, Moyes wouldn't see a penny of it, it would go straight to the banks, so his replacement would have to be a free or a loan. Then we would be in the same situation the following season.

He has just helped them qualify for the champions league!

£6m if that aaas the fee, is a bit of a wish list amount, considering his age, I think between £2.5 - £4m would be a fair amount, close to recouping the original fee.

Suspect it will include add Ons.

£4 million combined for the Yak & Yobo?!

So Moyes will get £1-2 million of that.

Hello Jay Bothroyd. Welcome to Goodison Park.

They indicated months ago they wouldn't pay the agreed fee so it's not much of a surprise really. Upto Moyes and what he feels is best for EFC

For me its got to be at least £4m for us to consider selling him, who would we get for £2m???!

If it comes to it, he can come back as far as I am conscerned, sit on the bench and we can sell him for £5m in January to someone who is desperate for a defender

Supposedly according to papers Spurs were interested in Distin, maybe they will take Yobo in a swap for Kranjar instead!! 2M is an insult, he is a decent player and could do a job in PL, barring the odd gaffe, I suspect that its the start of the negotiating process they say 2m we say 6m, they say 3m we say 5m, and settle then for 4.5 or thereabouts.

Would we need to replace Yobo? We already have Heitinga if he doesn't get sold and there's always Duffy in an emergency, we only used 3 centre-halfs this season and coped wthout Yobo. That said £2m is too low.

Eh! they're Turks - they like to haggle, of course they're opening offer is going to be low. Early days yet - I'd settle for £3.5M
after all is said and done, he's a complete spoon foot

I think we were fortunate that we did'nt get many injuries to the defenders this season. If we roll the dice again next season, we could see Hibbert employed as emergency CB again. Not something I want to see.
I dont know about the young lads like Duffy. If the manager thinks he is ready, then perhaps we dont need to replace Yobo

£2m is a slap in the face though, you would struggle to get a League one defender for that over here
