I wont dispute what LCAB says but I was going off the article posted in another thread about the Everton debt. (Maybe BBC or Guardian iirc)

$56mil (Ish) and i averaged the players out to 20mil a piece.

...but hey even better if it only takes 2.
 
It is imperative that we don't sell Fellaini to an English team. If we're to 'cash in' to buy others, we must try and find a foreign club to buy him.

It would be foolish to sell him to Chelsea, strengthen them and weaken ourselves.
 

Just watched these 2 videos and was quickly reminded of what a phenomenal player Fellaini is. In all my years of watching football, he is unquestionably the best I have seen at bringing a ball down on his chest and one of the best at directional headers into the path of his team mates. He is colossal for us.

The interchanges between him, Pienaar and Jelavic at points were nothing short of breathtaking too. I actually think he has got better each year, and really think he is going to have an absolutely storming season if he stays fit.

those videos really show how awesome he is and theres only one thing he needs to improve in his game - his shooting, its pretty woeful! well that and a bit more pace but you cant really make yourself quicker!
 
That's just reminded me how much I love Fellaini and how much I want the new season to start. Him and Gibson together are immense.

Just because we owe £56m doesn't mean that it would cost us anything like that to pay it all back. With all kinds of pen clauses built in I reckon we'd be looking nearer £80m to be debt free.
 
Fellaini is the one player we just can't afford to sell. Although Baines is the star, his price will never be higher than it is now, but Fellaini still has several years to improve. Hopefully it is with us
 
It's quite obvious now that Fellaini, on his day, is unplayable. I was travelling when that Man City game was played in 2010 and gutted I missed it. His performance against Man U was world-beating.

I just can't see us losing games when he is in the mood. Big season for him personally.

Great vid. I think I underestimated his ability in a more offensive capacity. He could honestly do a good shift there and his link up play with Jelavic is good, and his hold up play is world class.

It's just that he's so good defensively too. I wish we could clone him and stick one Felli in DM and one in AM! Wherever he plays next season, I just hope it's at Everton! For all the Baines talk Felli is the player we would miss most. He is just incredible.

never in a million years. Unbelievably average, should snap the hands off any club who offers money for him. But no one has ever offered money because he's nothing special. Just a lump with stupid hair who lets every game bypass him. Carsley + Gravesen were 5 times the player this muppet is.
