Fellaini

At a Club that is not necessarily desperate to sell, you may have to kick and scream in public to force a move, because in private, the team is saying "you are great, we love having you here, you are on a good contract for both sides - why should we sell you".

But at Everton, Fellaini knows what is up - he need not act like a baby to get sold because we need to sell him no matter what. Making a public fuss will only decrease his value to future clubs, who don't want to take on a massive tit when there are plenty of guy to buy. He knows he can shave his head and replace it with an Everton tattoo, and he will still be sold. So why not play the part of the loyal soldier.

pretty stupid from fellaini, When arsenal came in for Jags twice we could all see he would of left if a fee had been agreed, but he remained quiet and for that earnt some respect.

this is basically fellaini saying to other teams come and get me, could get really ugly if teams low ball us and moyes doesent budge on a higher price, disappointing that he has come out and said this, second time he has now said he wants to play CL football in as many seasons.

From the looks of things it looks like Moyes may have done what fergie did with ronaldo and wenger did with fabregas when they first wanted to leave i.e. stay for one more season and if your still not happy in a year then leave

I suspect some sort of an arrangement was made when fellaini signed a contract, even his dad hasnt been quiet since fellaini signed the contract.

i personally am not going to panic until he DOES leave! but any ambitious player at everton would say no different to what he's been quoted as saying to be honest.

If we don't make it to Europe next season. Baines, fellaini, jelavic, jags and heitinga will leave. Most likely fellaini and baines! Don't know how the board can accept that OUR best players to leave and replace with mediocre players and some fans accept this. Sad really!

Were the players you named not seen as mediocre when we bought them?

I don't want us to lose anybody either, but if we do it doesn't mean we're going to replace them with sh*te.

I think Fellaini and Baines are as good as gone. £40m for the pair, with Moyes getting around £30m of that. I don't think that's bad business in all honesty, and although I'd be gutted to see one of them go let alone both, we've got to accept that we're a selling club and this will happen nearly every year. There's no point getting distraught over it.

I think Moyes could do a lot with £30m, if he's still here mind. The guy can pick a player that's for sure.

If this were to happen for the love of all that is holy , let it happen soon enough for us to spend the money FFS!
