Dave Smallman is my uncle!

He lives in a village called Minera, near Wrexham.

Oh, wow, he was my pin up when I used to go and watch Wrexham play in the Northern Floodlit League, which THAT team won in err, 1970 or thereabouts, the team with Joey Jones, Graham Whittle, Billy Ashcroft, Mickey Thomas, Gordon Livesey, Dave Fogg.
He was such a stunning looking lad ......all the girls fancied him.
errr, do you look anything like him by any chance ?
and do you need a sugar mummy?

just jokin!!!!

Next time you see him give him lots of love and kisses from an old, old fan of THAT great team who used to stand in the boys pen on a Monday night to watch them play at the Racecourse.
I've still got photos in a scrapbook somewhere, if I find them, I'll try and put them on here.

Oh I wish I could find it! Since I wrote that post I've been rooting around in the attic looking for my football stuff but couldnt find it.

Ha ha. Anyway, it wasnt a semi - it was a real dangly - must have been a really BIG lad

Hello! I was searching Dave Smallman on google because he's my dad! i wanted to try and find some footage but theres nothing! And ive never seen any! i guess il have to call the bbc or something. I saw this quote haha crazy, he lives in a place called Minera with my mum, he's alright like just works in a cable making factory in a place called acrefair, hates it pretty much but its no suprise really after what he was! Ive read and heard so much good about him, if anyone can help with the footage search please give me a shout!

If youre after footage of your dad, tell someone at the Evertoncollection or the club even.

Or drop Prentice at the Echo a line, he's written about him before.

Some in that lot will definitely know someone who knows someone so that if any exists you'll find it.



during the 23 first team matches he did start, in the 70's sure someone might have some. ITV also are an option as they did live matches back then right?

I think I saw all of his games for Everton . Remember him getting 2 - poss on debut - . One he lobbed the keeper at the street End but got hurt . We were top of the league , as I recall - I was about 11 - .
