I think you'll find the cheap shot was in the titled post of this thread lad.

I've taken a look at whats going on far greater than you and your "MOYES HANDLING OF YAKUBU IS A DISGRACE" posts.

Nonsense. Yakubu was talking to other clubs in the summer whilst under contract. Proper snide that.
Why talk down to me lad there is no need i am just not understand where you are coming from.

It's about 99.999% of the cause. When Moyes realised what snidey players were doing with some proper money he would have got shut of one or two immediately.

Or he'd be in a better position to keep snidey players in their place as he'd have the threat of replacing them there available.

i would normally agree with this ( i defo agree the chairman/board need a huge majority portion of blame) but at the same time moyes said it was the best squad he has had and that he was confident they would do well.
it is a stonking squad ...clear to see ..... but moyes hasnt handled them well enough it appears , hasnt got them to perform or get the right results results.

there are issues with coaches , the manager and the players , but the first place that we have to start to sort out this mess is the very top at boardroom level.

I HOPE HE TOLD THE COACHDRIVER THAT HE COULD GET OFF EARLY, I WOULD DEFFO LEAVE THEM TO FIND THEIR OWN WAY HOME AFTER TAKING ALL THEIR IPHONES ETC, THEY WOULD CLEARLY BE LOST AS THEY ARE ON THE FIELD WHEN THEY HAVEN'T GOT THEM.

& TO MAKE IT WORSE THE [Poor language removed] ARE ABOUT TO WRAP UP THE TITLE AGAIN.

FML

Amazing that Jags has two own goals and that's more goals than our strikers have scored at the correct end.

Simply amazing.

Definitely mate.

Simply put Damon, you're bang on about the chairman and board ******* up big time. It's a sham how little cash we've had. But, you're wrong if you think little or no responsibility rests on Moyes' shoulders. Make mistakes, sure, but if you make the same ones, week in, week out, then you're not even learning from them. Even labradors can learn from their mistakes.

My opinion is that we have far too many first team players in comfort zones, without any pressure being exerted by the threat of new signings.
We know this group of players are capable of so much more. However, we have seen so little of the potential this season.
The manager has to rationalise and evaluate the hunger of the players and balance it out with their respective abilities.
We are NOT performing as a team and under Moyes, the one thing we have ever had is a good team ethic that he helped to build. He has tried to add quality with restricted funds as and when available.
Take this ethic away and we are still the average squad of players who have spent years over-achieving.
The side needs freshening up with one or two younger players added to the mix and truth be told, we were probably better with a smaller squad than the attitude encompased within the group we have right now.

Frustration divides us. Whether the grass is greener with different personel can only ever be speculative. However, change is part of evolution. I get that.
We have zero disposable income and so we can/have to sell 2 or 3 to raise some, but what we need most from the rest is big hearts.

This was supposed to be the year that was to change, with the quality we had on the bench.

Apparently not.

Moyes out - tactical not good enough and man management skills of a two year old.

There is no urgency in our play. No movement and no pace.

IMO its a symptom of our inability to do anything defensive in midfield.

we repeatedly gave away possession there today and our defense was constantly on the back foot. respect to distin and baines for their endeavor

..and to jags who is just getting involved in everything (sometimes over-involved) but in an attempt to make up for inadequacy elsewhere ..

let's not even mention the sins being made up front!

Thing is, results and performances show that this is not the case. A couple of 'stars' too many for Everton and the ones we rely so heavily on, suddenly stop performing and become very average, when the last thing we needed was more average players!

We have to keep the faith TX! There have been darker days than these and at least we have something to build on if we get the mix right.

I know, that's what I keep hoping for.

Meant to comment on this before the game, but Moyes said, "Sometimes winning a few games is better than drawing four or five but not losing gives you something".

Sometimes winning a few games, is better, than drawing four or five. But not losing gives you something.

Sometimes it's better to win a few games than draw four or five. But you get some points for drawing.
