The other thread is about the player in general. I opened this as i was curious about how much people value him as i have been suprised at how many have said they would sell him. The question is only open for a day. Dont you think its interesting that around 70% think he would raise 9mil plus? I wint to keep him as i dont believe we will get anywhere close to that.

Todays market that represents a steal as on talent alone he should be a £30m player.
I disagree, we paid 4m, which at the time was an utter steal, he hasnt really kicked on as much as he should and will be a gamble for any club that takes him on, it would be sensible for us to stick a % on any future sale, but personally I think we will have done well to get 15m+, even in this market.

Maybe get a coach in who knows how to improve him rather than sell him?
He's had what, 4 games to show anything this season, which isn't a proper chance in my book.
Only thing I can imagine is there must be some off field issue, (probably because he's frustrated at not being played while duff players like Clev get a game) because he gets assists for fun when he is played, even if he can be inconsistent. He's far more gifted than Bolasie.
I think it's crazy when you sell a talented player who has bags of skill when our team isn't that great as it is. There's like 10 players who are more deserving of being moved on and far less skillfull. If we had a great first team and he was showing a bit of attitude I could understand it but we don't. Seems crazy to sell him, he changes games, a skill very few of our players have.
I don't think Koeman or his coaching team know how to improve his game, which is what they should be doing. Get a great coach it who can help him work on his decision making and he'll flourish if he applies himself.
We could easily end up regretting letting him go if he becomes the player he's capable of being imo.

Aaron Lennon has taken his chance when called upon this season, he clearly has less talent than Geri, but he works hard for the team and gives the team tangible results such as assists and goals.
