Favourite school assembly songs

Think they have, but it's strange to think all these later I still know the lyrics to most, but ask me to solve a quadratic equation that's a different matter.
Tney were talking about how important school was and I got the evil eye from the daughter in law for telling the kids that since I left school in 1966 that I'd never once had to solve a quadratic equation

Or used a bunsen burner.
Or said bonjour to a French woman and waiting for her to say asayavous, before sitting down.
Or the logarithms .
Or find an irrelevant x value.

We didn't have to sing in school in the morning, but instead every single day before the first class began we had to stand up, look at this speaker up in the corner of the classroom and recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag, with our hand over our heart while the principal recited it over the PA system.

Pretty weird now that I think about it.
‘Kin yanks

Stand up stand up for Jesus - was always my favourite.

Or find an irrelevant x value.

Or just check the receipt
Or go online
Easy peasy

We were all forced to sing them when we were kids, in my school we had a mad teacher called Mrs Williams who thought she was Elton John on her piano blasting out greats like Morning has Broken…… what are the sings you were forced to warble at 9 in the morning ?
Sounds like a Welsh thing, we did nothing of the sort.
