Favourite Merseyside Architecture - buildings and monuments

Looking further afield but still Merseyside, the Dream in St Helens looks impressive.

Never been to it like.

...I was never a fan of this either but I'd prefer they'd gone with it rather than Museum of Liverpool Life...

Having worked in both, and knowing them inside out, both the Town Hall and St Georges Hall are stunning. Would pick Town Hall out of the two, once you get past its dark history. I left our mark on both making sure the kitchens were coloured blue during their refits😊
However, the Women's Hospital has always been my favourite building, incredible staff and the work they do is remarkable. I like the blue against the redbrick.
 

South end lad eh!

I used to be fascinated by tenements. When I was a lad we had some family in Cartwright House in Vauxhall and I used to be petrified but very curious when going there. The kids all looked murderous but they had a good community going I think...you'd know best.

The waste chutes stuck in my mind for some reason. o_O
There was a sense of community back then, probably the same as every other working class inner city area.
