Sorry @Cork Evertonian but I gave you the finger twice as you have liked some horrible clubs in Australia of either sport. I follow Brisbane in the A-league even though I am originally a Victorian and lived in Melbourne when the A-League got going but really don't like any of the Melbourne clubs. Live in Brissy now and have got to a few Roar games so I follow them. Collingwood in the AFL and you are only allowed to like one club as its the law.

As for other foreign clubs I follow FC Koln and keep an eye on how Stuttgart and Monchengladbach are going due to them being my wifes and father in laws teams.

16 grand final appearances since 1958.With 12 defeats 2 draws and 2 wins. The famous collywobbles. That goal in the 79 grand final was perfectly legit btw!But hey we better keep this thread to the round ball!

Don't apologise he gets fingered on a regular basis.

He wishes.

I suppose at least the pies are reaching grand finals. While Melbourne haven't done anything in 55 years, and Carlton have just been collecting wooden spoons over the past 20 years years.Melbourne Victory have traditionally been the biggest team Melbourne, i think. But Melbourne City are doing well at the moment, and of course Tim Cahill played there for a season.

Great cure for insomnia.

I dont "support" any foreign teams as that would be a bit weird but I do have a favourite side from most nations because..well why not? Its handy for Fifa and the likes...

Some of them are:

Scotland: Ayr United
Germany: Tennis Berlin
France: Clermont Foot
Sweden: IFK Goteborg
Portugal: Boavista
Poland: Cracovia
Russia: Lokomotiv Moscow
Czech Republic: Dukla Prague
Switzerland: Grasshoppers

Most of them have links to where I have been on my travels or people who I know to be honest. Some will simply be due to me liking their kits in the old subbuteo catalogues etc.
All I've ever wanted for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit.

Yeah Victory are the biggest by far in Melbourne. City get bugger all fans to their games. I did follow Melbourne Heart when they joined the league as I still lived in Vic at the time and watched a game of theirs when they played in Morwell. When city took over is when I stopped following them.
