Or is he, perhaps a man who has looked behind the murky curtain that Moshiri has put up and is not liking what he sees?

Hes concerned about everton and a lick of paint here and there and loads of grand promises backed up with, after three and a half years, virtually zero progress is worrying
When the likes of you is agreeing with Dave ,i would say he is disgusted

when Neiler says that Moshiri could change the nature of Everton's debt and look for repayment... repayment from whom ?.
He owns nearly 80% of the club and the real money to be made is in the capital gain to be made if he can make the club a big player again.
It has been pointed out repeatedly that the new ground is crucial for the club to progress on the field but also in terms of value.

If Moshiri were to try and sell the club at present I think he would probably lose money.
If he lands the club with extra debt then it probably would halt the development of the new ground... Moshiri is left with an asset crippled with debt , an aging stadium....Moshiri will certainly be lucky to get his investment back if he can find a bank to take on the loan.

There are two big prizes here, the first is the capital gain to be had from developing a new ground and making the club successful again... there are potential gains of hundreds of millions if we look at the value of the top clubs in the Premiership.

There will also be additional opportunities as the city is developed and money is poured into the docklands.

I think we also need to understand that Moshiri is associated with people who have incredibly deep pockets.
Its all in the dots, ask @roydo

First summer for years where we have no worries about losing star players, just buying more, thats how great Moshiri is
We have star players?

They've all been sold. Richarlison is the only one I would possibly consider a "star" player. Digne is good but how many left backs are considered "star" players. I wouldn't call him or the rest of the squad "stars".

If someone put the money down for Richarlison and he wanted to go then he'd be out same as Stones, Lukaku and Barkley before him. Nobody with the money wants him so he won't be sold but as we've seen before the money offered and player power dictates whether they will move, not Moshiri.

He said he wanted to keep all three and none of them play for us any longer. If you think Moshiri will keep our star players then I don't think you have paid attention to out transfer business since he came here.

Only because they didn't offer enough for us to buy a replacement. If the money is good enough then he will go because he wants the move. Same as Stones, Lukaku and Barkley.
Same as every player on every team on the planet. Neymar, MBappe, Ronaldo, Hazard, etc. all been sold.

Yep. I'm not using it as a stick to beat him with just telling it how it is.

Moshiri can't keep anyone who doesn't want to be here same as any other team these days.

I had hoped he would be able to keep Stones, Lukaku and Barkley and help us build a team around them but that's old fashioned thinking. Players if they're better than us currently won't stay longer than 2-3 years because that's just the way things work now.

the real merry-go-round hasn't started yet.

lets see whos still here and who isn't come august

Lukaku and Stones And Barkley were our star players? Maybe, they were progressing well here but now none of them are regular starters for the ‘big boys’, big boys we beat last season except city.

True.

In fact,Rooney aside, how many players have left Everton go to on to bigger and better things?

Possibly Fellaini and Arteta? Even then they hardly set the world on fire.

Genuine question. Would you rather have Stones Barkley Lukaku or Digne Gomes Richarlison?

I know which three I would pick for consistency of performance and actually looking like they’re bothered about Everton.

We’re a big club ever present in the premier league with a good academy butnunable to offer guaranteed European football. Of course we’re going to have a lot of top players that will come through and move on elsewhere. I don’t know why some people make a huge deal of it. Liverpool have sold practically every decent player they’ve ever had and it hasn’t done them any harm in the long run.

Don't think anyone could question they were our star players under Martinez. Just because they aren't the star players at their current teams doesn't mean they weren't for us.

The latter three because they want to play for us.

If Lukaku wanted to be here is take him over all the rest NEA
