I would play assuming everyone stays

Mata Lukaku Deulofeu
Barkley Bazoer
Blind
Baines Stones Jags Coleman
New GK
I think that's a nicely balanced team and Blind is better than McCarthy for that role and Bazoer is better than McCarthy for the position further up. The rest of our midfielder either is too young (Davies) or not really good enough to be starters. I also think those 3 would work within our budget of around net 100m with enough left over for a decent GK and squad cover.

mata sucks on the left though, hence why he looks so poor for united when not in his favoured position. the kind of guy we need in the cnetre as a playmaker, but can't play anywhere else and with our squad it's hard to see too many formations where we would play it anyway.

What nobody realises is that this IS the glorious era. Right now. The speculation about hiring a top class manager. The dreams of a brand spanking new waterside stadium. The promise of millions to spend on new players.

If my 30 years as an Everton fan has taught me anything, its that we should be relishing this experience. It'll all be gone again soon.
Spot on. Enjoy the moment of infinite possibility.

I was not criticising Bill - both he and Moyes were there as a result of their long time support for Bellew, personally I had no problems with either being there.

I was however drawing the contrast with the work that Moshiri was doing, and would hope at last that everyone recognises where the balance of power now lies.

I would suspect that Mr Moshiri is also fronting up a number of other investors with some serious money behind them when you look at his background.
Would not surprise me in the least if there isn't quite a bit of pique floating about when it didn't work out at Arsenal.
Next few years are going to be FUN

Sits calmly waiting for the sun to finally rise over Goodison.

After 30 years it's been a long time coming, it's like getting up early in the morning you can't quite see the sun, but you know it's there, there is a glow to the sky, the birds are cherping and singing away. But not until you see the sun do you actually get that full relief that it's morning again and you are watching the sunrise for real.
What's been slipped into your coffee? I'd like to be positive but just had a million false dawns since 87

We are not going to take on the world. We are Everton. Second best in the city never mind the country, never mind the world.
I will cry our luck in...
