Goat corner just got razed.
Strange times.
Strange times.
Pride is often a more value commodity than value on the balance sheet...
Think Kroenkes shares are entrusted to his family. So basically Usmanov and Kroenke are battling to see who outlives the other and gains full control of Arsenal? How dark.

I hope that you've learned from this on your fourth user name thus far, Mr Damo...Pride comes before a fall
However Esk.
Regardless of the quality of the underlying business, who wants to buy 30% of an illiquid stock (in trading terms) that offers no board position or influence with the dominant majority shareholder whilst releasing the seller to create a major competitor elsewhere?

As are Usmanovs.
...evidentially not.Pipe down and mow @MoutsGoat 's lawn peasant
Surely as an investment it's sellable. 30% of a company that is increasing in value every year.
Maybe...but that could be some time away...unless one of them blinks first.I was presuming their families would be less likely to keep the feud going with the one living principal, and the family would sell to be done with it.
(i) it's illiquid, can't be sold easily, and (ii) it's only going to increase in value if Arsenal's revenues increase due to success on the pitch - Kroenke seems a steady as we go, ambition only to qualify for CL type of guy - that's going to be increasingly difficult with greater competition whilst Arsenal relatively stand still.
