Hasn't joe Anderson met and spoke with moshiri ? I wonder what he knows that we don't ?
Just been musing over the entire situation mate.
Question for you, or more of a hypothetical scenario maybe
Say Moshiri togetehr with Usmanov had finally both had enough of Arsenal, they want full control of a premiership club - which has a bit of oomph about its history and with potential to be so much bigger than it currently is... Problem is they own shares in Arsenal - if they just cut and run from their at the same time - 2 things would happen, they would be seen as 'having' to sell their stake in Arsenal in order to move onto a purchase of another club, which would pretty much be a certainty to drive down the price they could recieve for their Arsenal shares, additionally any deal involving Usmanov buying a club would IMO anyway see the asking price doubled - just due to the wealth he has.
Would a possible scenario see one of them moving first - giving them a lot more leeway in terms of disposing of their Arsenal interests, whilst not missing out on their target (ie us), moshiri starts the process of complete ownership, starts to restructure the club from the top down, starts the stadium ball rolling and starts the increase in funding, Usmanov then disposes of his stake in Arsenal in his own time, and moves into a partnership like they had at R and W holdings again, and then becomes the face of the new owners - chairmen etc
Additionally it would carry the added bonus (for them) of us as a fanbase not falling off our chairs and wanting everything right now, Moshiri is wealthy but no sheikh for example, so we will give him more time to restructure without the expectation of throwing a gazillion quid at the situation, 6 months down the line ofc, a lot of the restructuring will already have been done, new manger in place, first wave of investment already completed, then the big hitter arrives and changes the game?
All speculation, but as a overall plan - they'd give themselves time to get the best price for Arsenal shares, give themelves the best chance of buying us at the lowest possible price, and both manage to fullfill their long time dream of co-owning a top football team in this country, with both having a voice and Usmanov in charge?
I'll state the obvious, for it to happen Usmanov has to dispose of his 30.04% Arsenal Holding. He's maintained publicly that he'll keep his Arsenal holdings for his family in the future. He also does not strike me as a man who is going to let Kroenke win their particular battle.
It also seems the wrong time to dispose of Arsenal shares, on the cusp of this enormous amount of money flowing into the Premier League and frankly the Premier League Champions spot being wide open next year.
There's not a whisper in the London investment/football community of this happening.
He could just transfer them to a family member.......A gift......
No he couldn't.
Why ?.......

...it'd be a moonrail...Can we still have a monorail ?
but minds can change? Can't they?No - see my post above.
I think you need to read the Premier League rule book on connected parties![]()
