I agree, the point was driven more by the idea of him being a direct "proxy" as described earlier. Overseas I have represented investors in a similar way - it can be quite uncomfortable at times.

They're expected to be objective and maintain independence.

If - hypothetically - either Kenwright or Moshiri - asks the MSCP to break the law.

He could easily tell them to STFU. It would breach his service contract.

This is entirely normal. The thing that seems to be blowing people's minds on here. Is this isn't some enormous MSCP firm. As our accountant friends are used to.

This is correct, but this is not the same as being Moshiri's proxy. What is your definition of proxy? 'Proxy' implies Ryazantsev is there only to vote as Moshiri directs. Ryazantsev is on the board to represent Moshiri, but I suspect Ryazantsev will have a greater autonomy you are suggesting, particularly given his own commercial expertise.
