I can agree with you on that. My concern was some corporate muppet making the decision, when I would just throw money and a vision at the best Manager if I was Mr Moshiri.

Do we know which firm he contracted it to? If they are anything into the data, then I would think they would make decent choices. Then again, this is football, and fans hate data LOL

I said it was not unusual. There are several very high quality global firms that specialise in top end professional sports management positions.

Cant see them doing anything either way until after the FA cup final, maybe that is why we are hanging about on making our move, I dunno, but I think LVG will still be there in August, if they win that cup or get 4th no way will they let him go.
