Abramovich often interfered at Chelsea yet they won lots of shiny tings because they signed good players and appointed good managers. An interfering owner doesn't always mean a poorly ran club - if the Chairman/DOF are any good then they stand firm and make the owner take more of a backseat.

Kenwright did the opposite & Brands decided to replace prine Gana with Gbamin & Delph and signed a lazy/uninterested player like Moise Kean when we needed an experienced CF to mentor a young DCL then moans to the media that the owner sacked Silva against his wishes when we were in the bottom 3 in Dec thanks to his pap summer business. 🤦‍♂️
Just a quick one.

“Prime” gana was still a shyte headless chicken. Moise Kean was one of the most exciting young players in Europe at the time.

Sell already you knob
He won't because he can't. If its his own money, he'd be losing a major part of his wealth, because he'll get nowhere near back what he was spent, and seeing as the wheelbarrows of cash from Uzzy are no more that's a very painful option. If its Uzzy's money, there's no way of getting the small portion of money received back to him because of all the sanctions, and he'd effectively be signing off on a massive loss for him. Seeing as he's effectively only a messenger boy for Uzzy, that's not a good position to be in, as Russia and Uzzy are likely to be considered a pariah for most/all of what time Uzzy has left alive, so without his only source of previous wealth, whats he got left?

I think regardless of whether we stay up or not, there will be changes on the board to appease the fans to a degree, and because there's only so much abuse and ridicule anyone can put up with for whatever they're being paid. But whoever the replacements are, they'll only be there to do Moshiri's bidding, while he hides in the background. I just find it hard to believe that if we go down, we'll still be able to find the remaining 300M+ required to complete BMD, unless a new investor makes themselves known.

This might sound controversial, but if he learns from his mistakes I can see a way back for Moshiri. Get rid of Kenwright and Barrett Baxendale, get a proper Chief Executive in who knows how to run a football club and then stay out of the way. In a years time if we got promoted and we're moving into the new ground he may be forgiven.

Not controversial, hugely laughable yes!

In everything in life there's always a chance, but it's hard to believe that after 7 years of mismanagement, abject failure and total lack of any kind of plan or direction he suddenly becomes a capable owner.

The real issue lies with the fact that he either doesn't care or doesn't even know what he's done wrong. If he did he would have already corrected the ship!

The sale is going through. Moshiri wants out in the worst way. Sale will be completed over three years with MSP initially taking a 45% ownership stake. That rises to full ownership over three purchase periods. Deal has been signed. He’s out completely in two years.

One of the major players on the MSP side just sold a sports organization of his own. Notorious cheap [Poor language removed] but liquid.

7 years too late, he has done too much dmaage, he will never be forgiven if he takes Everton out of the top flight

Wonderful just what we need to meet the fanbases expectations of being a top side - a group that barely spends anything.

Back to the days of Kenwright ere we come !
