A decent bloke who has poured hundreds of millions of Pounds into our club and given us the dream of a world-class stadium on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey.
Successive top class managers have let him down again and again. Guys like the Barcelona manager Koeman and the former Belgium manager Martinez and the former England manager Allardyce and the La Liga winner Benitez. I don’t imagine the toxicity of the fans at Goodison has helped matters.
But ultimately Mosh has tried his best. Who’d have thought that managers of such pedigree could perform so terribly?
If you think he as 'poured 100s of millions of £ into our club' you need your head felt. What he has done is lent Usmanov's money to the club in the hope of getting it and more back when the stadium is built. And when you look at the way the money was spent he may as well have flushed it down the toilet.
It's not the managers that have let him down - the blame lies with himself and his board for making all the wrong decisions since he took over. From managerial appoinments to DOF appointments to directorships, he has got it all wrong. There is no clarity as to the structure of the management of the club to the point where no-one knows for sure who is making the key decisions.
Unfortunately for him, with the Usmanov cash now dried up, his investment is not going to realise anywhere near the value he had hoped ot believed it would. At the rate we are going he will be lucky to get anything back at all.
Another BK masterstroke selling to this chap. Good times though.
