He then shamefully sacked him for no logical reason after he did well for us.

Five years later were are in the second relegation battle fighting for survival.

Since we let Sam go no manager has finished higher then the 8th place he earned for us.

We haven't made a good managerial appointment since.

Sacking him was without question the stupidest thing Everton have done for many years and a reflection of what a terrible owner we have.
For the following 3 seasons we equalled or bettered Allardyce's points total so not really sure this is as strong a point as you think it is.

We never finished higher then 8th, I thought the point of sacking him was becuase he wasn't doing good enough?
Not to mention it was a major waste of money and we didn't have a viable long term replacement lined up.
It was the start of today's mess and never should of happened

I notice you stopped short of saying you want him back. You’re only half insane thankfully. UTFT ?

We are all bothered by it, but most of us can see where the rot "really" set in and don't spend most of our time on a luv fest and defence of the indefensible.
Not quite sure what the " indefensible" has got to do with what Moshiri has done too us without any help from anyone else.
Were we are now, this rot, did begin 5 years ago today, or rather when Sam was ridiculously sacked, and we need to remember this.

No, the rot started with the appointment of Koeman.

You need to remember, that Allardyce was only ever brought in to stave of the threat of relegation.

That`s why he held out for an 18 mth contract, so`s he got himself a nice little goodbye bung at the end of the season.

He knew that, we all knew that, but for some reason, you for seem to be the only one who wants to ignore that.

Your right about Koeman, but we still shouldn't of sacked Sam.
We sacked a manager who performed and every manager since has either been a failure or is failing.
The Koeman rot was nipped in the bud by Sam
