But to whom ? and what could they bring to the club except a big pile of debt to finance their loan to buy and then milk the club dry.

Sorry but too many can only think of getting rid of Moshiri with out assessing the effect on our club.
Seemed to be ok when Kenwright did that. Borrowed from Peter to pay Paul constantly, sold off every aspect of the club that he could feasibly do so, and the less said about Philip Green the better imo. Is it because he is a blue or something?

Just like all those who wanted Bill to sell but without foreseeing the damage it would do, hindsight is great, but the problem is now as long as Moshiri stays things will only get worse
This is just a daft stance. We literally sold players to avoid administration. Our BEST player one year. He is and was a con artist with absolutely no business being at this club for 30 years which coincides with our worst ever trophy haul.

Hindsight isn't great. We most likely go bust with Bill at the wheel.

You did notice we just had too sell Richarlison is the summer right? You had to have noticed this? On Farhads watch, so trying to have a go at Bill for selling players when we had zero money is a bit silly now.

I'm an ex-auditor in one of the big 4 for about 6-7 years. Let me give me 2 cents.

To be fair, there are always rumours of client wanting to change auditors AND/OR rumours the Partners want to resign a client. It doesn't make the news often though lol

Should Evertonians be worried?

If the audit has started and BDO decides to walk away - Yes. but I can't comment on their audit timeline.
If BDO and Everton both decide not to continue the relationship before the audit commence - No. (this could just means fees negotiation breakdown)
If audit commenced, Everton looking for new auditors to sign 2023 - No

Interesting, and likely highly coincidental rather than good timing that Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced today that the Glazers were “nice boys” but not interested in a sale and that he would now look to acquire or invest in another Premier League club or “huge European club” instead.
Everton would be just perfect for him.... bright young manager, community-oriented club, fanatical and loyal support and of course a spanking new ground on the horizon.

In terms of suitability as a new owner I imagine he’d tick virtually all, if not every box. And, he’s not American.

Welcome Sir Jim.
Admire your optimism but unfortunately United and Everton are miles apart. Not sure Jim would settle for Everton. Hope so.

Welcome Sir Jim.

He's got to pay us 500 million first to name our new ground 'The Ineos stadium'.

In the article about him wanting to buy It'd it quotes him as saying he wants a premier club not just a premier League club.
Seems he is looking at a vanity thing. Look what I have.
Pretty sure we ain't that.

This is all pie in the sky atm - but the new stadium will due to design and location will be a global premier league flagship. It will change the fortunes of the club.

I'm sure a lot of his materials for this major site in Runcorn go floating past the construction site every day.

Why is this a thing? People act like it’s the same as sacking a manager where there’s some sort of shortlist of replacements that we have to work our way down. I don’t have a comprehensive list of every rich individual interested in buying football clubs for you, I’m sorry. All I know is that the club has become a shambles under this ownership and I want change before it’s too late.

Yes there are problems, but no easy way to sort them out. I do think though part of this is sorting now with Lampard and Thelwell running the playing side of the club.

He’s openly stated it’s about community involvement. It’s the one thing Everton are consistently top notch at.

Stranger things have happened.

Lots of critics in France - he put Dave Brailsford (the cycling boss) in charge of turning Nice around but they are languishing in the bottom half of Ligue 1. Bought Barkley, Ramsey, Schmeichel. Also I think he wouldn’t be allowed to own two clubs in European competition (should that ever come about).
He can own 100% of Everton AND Nice. The crunch comes if we ever met in the same completion, he'd have to reduce ownership in one. (though knowing how murky football is I imagine 'trying to sell' would be good enough)

Uefa's integrity rules permit one person to have a 100% shareholding in one club and a “non-decisive influence” shareholding in another club competing in the same competition.

But that wasn't because he's skint!

That was to satisfy rules he (foolishly) allowed the club to break by backing multiple managers with their own signings, showing a bit of ambition.... Something Kenwright has never managed himself.

Wonder if he (Kenwright) shows his face this weekend? I missed his lumbering hulk v UTD.

Had Moshiri not bought in I have no doubt at all we'd have been in administration by now, probably a league lower. Maybe even 2. We'd also be in an utterly decrepit stadium with no sign of any improvements being made.

All speculation of course, but we were only going one way under Bills ownership. (clue.... It wasn't up)

Very true.
