Which shows you are confused because record losses have nothing to do with the commercial side of the club.
They are to do with us spending CL level money (generously given by Mr Moshiri which YOU wanted him to spend) but having no CL revenue to balance the books.
Thats ultimately a failure of recruitment by the DOF/recruitment teams going as far back to Walsh. Said department ultimately is overseen by the Chairman who is Bill Kenwright not Farhad Moshiri.
Again I'll criticise Moshiri for keeping Kenwright on in that role but I wont criticise him for the money being spent badly or the players who have been signed not putting in effort like Morgan Schneiderlin.

Which is correct - If Everton spent a few bob like Southampton and Brighton and not £100 million like a CL club we wouldn't have record losses therefore it has nothing to do with the clubs commerical element unless you believe we should be attaining sponsership deals on the levels of CL clubs like Liverpool and Man Utd?
