I agree. I just think that he's part of the problem. That email sent the other day, just to remind everyone:
"I have the utmost faith and respect in the Board, and I work incredibly well with them. The experience and knowledge of our Chairman blends perfectly with the vision and leadership of Denise, our CEO. He is respected across football, not only as an expert in player trading negotiations - skills that have been put to good use already this month with three new signings - but for the unwavering commitment and guidance he has given to Everton over so many years. There is no one working harder to bring success and happiness back to the Club."
Moshiri might be a successful billionairre but here's the gig.
I think it's fair to say he himself doesn't have the football wherewithal so he trusts in other people.
It's evident he has trust in BK and DBB . It's also evident he has trust in others such as this Kia fella.
My concerns are is he oblivious to the 'state' of the way the club is being run by unintentionally being so naive
in his delegating of the club to the likes of Kenwright? Someone that wants Martinez back. Where through Kenwright's blue tinted glasses the club is in good shape. Or is he being taken for a fool by people like Kia what's name?
Moshiri may be taking us all for a fool. Because one day he'll have is investment back. In triplicate.
I'd like to think he's simply naive in football, and soon he will revamp the club, something he should have done 5 years ago by the way. Worryingly it might be a bit too late. If like he says, "I have the utmost faith and respect in the Board" then I fear he won't be learning any lessons soon.
We've a club that no longer believes in its motto and no longer aspires to be the best. But it's okay we've had some good times.
