Where have you seen this mate?

Not the full takeover many expected. Let's hope his influence as the major shareholder points the club in an exciting direction.
Not yet, thing is him and the minority shareholders own 80 percent of the club, so thats got to be better then before, would like to know who sold up though?

Woods should sell his as he does jack all. So maybe he's kept his for Bill?

Owning 49.9% is in all practical terms a takeover. Considering that roughly 25% of the shares are owned by small shareholders, some like myself with a single share, then getting together the remaining 50.1% to oppose anything the majority shareholder proposes would be impossible!

49% though.....who's shares have been sold?? I cant see much change here, its not exactly a take over.

This is exactly what bill wanted.

He is someone whose wealth seems to be based around getting into the Russian thing just as the Soviet Union collapsed (which was not a good time for open and honest business practices carried out by saints), and staying on the good side of those who won power then and have kept it since.

Is this his own money, or does he have his own "investors" in the background?

In February of 2016 it was announced that Moshiri had sold his stake in Arsenal Football Club to Red & White Holdings partner Usmanov in a bid to raise capital required to launch a takeover at Everton Football Club. He has vowed to invest millions of pounds in the hope of luring the likes of Francis Jeffers, Duncan Fergusson and Dixie Dean back to the club. He has also stated he would "bulldoze that shed in Walton and build a new 20000 seater stadium in Skem".[6] On 27 February, Everton officially confirmed Moshiri's purchase of a 49.9% stake in the club.
