Officially it has already been checked and signed off by the Premier League (And I imagine Uefa/Fifa). A broadcaster can make suggestions but I find it difficult without new evidence for them to start looking at penalties having given it the ok stamp.

Unofficially this kind of backs up what lots of people have been saying (myself included) re this takeover, that it is a front operation for one of the wealthiest men in the world. That any time he distances himself from it officially not to read too much into it, as he has to to avoid being called out by the media.

What happens next I am not sure. The timing is interesting. Call me cynical but these sort of things don't come out without certain say so of certain powerful people. Maybe Kroenke has tipped people off to pressure Usmanov to sell up? Maybe Peel Holdings feel Usmanov wants too much of the pie at Liverpool Waters?

My suspicion is we will be officially ran by Usmanov at some point moving forward.

I would also add, it looks like the program is about shady/creative behaviour of the super rich, which I have little doubt that both Moshiri and Usnamov could be involved in.

However the BBC presenting an opinion piece on it's opinion of unsavoury behaviour is a very long way from prosecutable behaviour. Even if action were to be taken, I suspect it would be that Usmanov would have to end involvement in one club. There's ever chance he would do that in Arsenal, so it may be a blessing for us.
