Martinez got us a lot closer to 4th than Moshiri will get to a big net spend or a stadium.

haha, close....but no dice!

He failed, just like he failed when he got Wigan relegated.

Just like he failed when the 2 seasons afterwards we went backwards 10 years.

He is a failure.

Mosh is a winner.

Is it ok to seek reality?

Poor team performances
Shambolic and imbalanced transfer window
Best player just left
Second best player almost gone
Former teen hero back as a washed up old man
Manager spending £100M and complaining he's had nothing
Club getting held to ransom trying to secure a player for £50M who will have no sell on value
Stadium issue kicked into the long grass...again

How do you wonder at people not being upbeat?

lol

You plough through this forum like a lone dark cloud, bringing everybody down with your constant negativity.

Find another hobby before you drive everybody to the brink FFS!

I love how the Mosh has revitalised this sleeping giant; turned a club run like a corner shop into a mean lean business machine. Paying the prices to secure the talents, yet standing a firm ground when we believe that we are being taken advantage of. No more soft touch blues!!

A new home will soon be rising in the Mersey, a central focal point to one of the worlds most famous skylines and right in the heart of one of Europes biggest development sites. Firmly putting us right in the map.

A marketing masterpiece was achieved by brining a blue home, the world media loved this tale. Again, we were right in the front page of all media outlets, the media followed us around constantly reporting on this love affair between player and club. The world remembered Everton

He's supplied our glorious manager with funds to build a team that can push on and bury the nightmares of years gone by, serpents who do not wish to be part of this revolution are rightly shown the door; not worthy to wear the royal blue that we, the fans and family, proudly do.

The mosh still as work to do, but he has laid his solid foundations and awoken a once powerful beast

Hail the Mosh
The fact that we all know that's tongue in cheek is damning.

18 months here and we're 'doing a Kenwright'. And most people have twigged it now.

What a baby you are, 'our new owner hasnt got billions to spend us' you are like an entitled red. Grow up, we havent got a super rich owner because they are as a rare as hens teeth. What we have got, is an owner with far more business sense than we had before.

Your crying about the owner not turning us from one of the lowest spenders to top 4 in less than 2 years, is understandable from a kid, from a grown man its pathetic.

You're not doing a bad cry-arseing job yourself there. Maybe you should clean out your own Pampers?

I'm "expecting"...

A sizeable net spend
The team to look better than last season's
Him to keep his promise about retaining best players

...just reasonable signs of progress like that will do.

Of course it suits you to misrepresent that as 'spending billions'. and Kopite levels of entitlement.

Moshiri is presently performing at sub-Kenwright levels. Most either see it or are waking up to that fact.

He's just a WUM mate, best to slap him on ignore and move on. ;)

How you can watch this summer's pedestrian muck and not recognise that Barkley is our best remaining player I dont know.

Because I have watched him in every game he has played for us?

He is alright. I want him to stay and all that (though not overly gutted if he leaves).

I have also seen plenty of pre seasons under various managers and also for an assortment of clubs, summer games are always pedestrian muck as you put it.

Just the media attention he has brought to us is amazing. We are back being relevant and talked about daily where it used to be once in a blue moon.

We must get in 2/3 very good players by the end of the window though.

sub kenwight levels.... not even worth a rsponse

Him to keep hold of players like utd did with Ronaldo, Barca with Neymar, but you expect him to do what the biggest clubs in the wold cant.

Look I would have liked (am still hoping) for a bit more this window, but the [Poor language removed] you spout is way over the top, as was the other side who seemed to think we were the new Real Madrid earlir in the window. People seem to have no sense of grey areas these days, eveything is black or white.

We did not go back ten years! Why do people keep saying stupid stuff like this?

The position we were in before and after he was at the club are exactly the same. Best of the rest. Where does the ten year part come into it?

There are plenty of reasons to have a go at Martinez so why throw in a weird reference like that? Other than a couple of dull seasons for the fans him being here really has changed nothing.

He is talking about league positions. He took us to our lowest positions since 2005-06 of 11th. Not satisfied with doing it once he did it twice in his 3 seasons
