There's a fair bit of ambiguity in what's been written (what I've seen anyway), like the term "in due course". Whether there's any timeframe stipulated in the official documents, I have no idea.
Also, it's not clear if a party makes an offer at the published share price, are the holders obliged to accept?
I do understand that now Usmanov has reached 30%, he is entitled to trigger a reverse bid, so maybe that's why he wanted Moshiri's 15%, so he held that threat???
Re the argument "why should Kroenke care, he's got all the power", well that's not strictly true. As long as shares are available he has to comply with rules & show transparency. If he owns 100% he can de-list & will be free to do as he wishes, just as the Glaziers did at Man U.
