UPDATE:
Just received an email from YHG:

This is where things are up to;

Gas supply; The meter is not registered with a supplier; you will be able to have gas at the property; our contractors are coming out Wednesday morning to turn it on (I could not get an earlier appointment; it is usually 48 hours after a tenancy starts); British Gas are in the process of registering the meter with them for your supply, it will take two weeks to formally register, but you will still have gas from Wednesday

Electric supply; this is sorted, once you have credit on the key it will come on.

P.S. I just don't understand, does it mean I can't turn on the heater if there will be no gas till Wednesday?

If the heating is gas then you won't be able to use it until Wednesday.

It probably is gas. Could be a bit chilly on Tuesday night.

Sergei, i'm sorry I've not been able to help you out with your move but I would sincerely like to wish you all the very best in your new home. Hopefully this can be the start of many a happy time for both you and eventually your family. I will promise you this though, next time i'm up for a match, I would.... if you have the time to spare..... like to buy you a drink and raise our glasses to a fantastic future for you.

Tommye can come too but i'm not going to the bar to buy his bottle of fannyjuice.... i'll give him the money and he can go and embarrass himself.
Cheers mate, much appreciated really. Thank you.

Made up in Florida to hear that you're getting sorted, Sergei. If you'd come to the USA (especially Texas) we'd have had Hank Hill get you sorted with a propane setup.

May be tomorrow a good idea will be to go out to town and spend evening there, cause it will be weird to be in a cold flat without internet, tv, furniture...
So if somebody fancy a pint in town I would be more then happy. If everybody is busy (midweek, day before Everton game) then I will probably go out on my own, just to kill some time...

Good idea mate, I'm not about (not allowed out on school nights) but there will be plenty of places with the footy on and free wifi, then go back and get your head down.
