Just received the email confirmation that tomorrow YOUR Housin Group should sort out my gas supply and I should attend a sign in in their office at 10 am. After that I will have the keys and my new life will start over again.

Struggling with choosing the wifi connection for the new flat. I find some offers with something like £17-18 p/m which is not too bad but you need to pay straight away for the installation something like £50-60 which is massive. Which provider would you recommend Blues?

if you need the speed then go for Virgin I reckon, nobody can provide me with anything close to what they do, in fact probably 50x faster than anyone else

I'm with talktalk - They're reasonably priced, but their customer service (In India) is garbage; so if something goes wrong it's hard work getting them to rectify it.

Sergei, i'm sorry I've not been able to help you out with your move but I would sincerely like to wish you all the very best in your new home. Hopefully this can be the start of many a happy time for both you and eventually your family. Just received an email from YHG:
This is where things are up to;
Gas supply; The meter is not registered with a supplier; you will be able to have gas at the property; our contractors are coming out Wednesday morning to turn it on (I could not get an earlier appointment; it is usually 48 hours after a tenancy starts); British Gas are in the process of registering the meter with them for your supply, it will take two weeks to formally register, but you will still have gas from Wednesday
Electric supply; this is sorted, once you have credit on the key it will come on.
P.S. I just don't understand, does it mean I can't turn on the heater if there will be no gas till Wednesday?
