Even when we were 3-5 down, I was still thinking and hoping the team would get a goal or two back so for me, if I have the chance, I will not leave the stadium as long as the ref has not blown the final whistle.

I work nights and leaving 5 minutes early means I'm in work at a better time.
You pay your money. If you're not entertained it's your right to do what you want. After all it's an entertainment business....

If you leave early regularly you shouldn't be there. Imagine going the pictures every week and leaving 5-10 mins before the end Its that stupid doing the same at the match.

Surely you're entitled to do so? After all. They may value missing the extra 30 minute delay than see the last 4 minutes of the game???
Devils advocate.

Never understood it - especially these days when you've paid so much for your ticket. Firstly there's very few games thank god when we are three or four down at Goodison and the result is beyond doubt going into the final minutes. But even if we are losing, what's the point ? You could be missing an Everton goal, you could be missing part of the story of the match, you could be learning more about some of the players, and how much are you really going to do with those extra five minutes of your life ?
