Fallout 3 - Best game ever?

Have our resident gamers tried Fallout 3 yet?

I have to say it's probably the best first person shooter single player game that's come out since Half Life 2.

What say ye?

Its a fantastic game mate. Just finished it 100% a few days ago and it was awesome. It has a fantastic story and the graphics are great.

But its not the best game I've played but its certainly the buggiest, its stupid how many times that game has crashed on me.

not played it!

but got uncharted 2 for crimbo and this is easly the best single player game ive even seen and played!

I can't be doing with third person games, hence why I didn't buy Assassins Creed or Uncharted.

Games like Crysis were good graphically, but very short and the same goes for the Cod series, which are mainl multiplayer experiences with short single player.

Fall out 3 is very similar to Stalker in it's game play, but has a very unique feel to it, and lasts for weeks if you play it properly.

I love the music, and the 1920's type feel to it throughout and the selection of bad guys and monsters is truly superb.

I finished it a long time ago, but have been missing it.

Fallout 3 is one of the best games ever.

I have it on the PC. Finished it, then went around doing everything possible. Just got the GOTY edition on the Xbox, and it has all of the expansions, so I am going through it again. And it isn't as bad as I thought it would be on the Xbox, I am enjoying it just as much as the PC version (although, given a choice, the PC version wins for me)

And I haven't had any problems running it on the PC. Always ran fine for me.
