No, not with her indoors, we're good.

With Footy, i am cancelling my Sky Sports subscription this month, i've felt for a while the razzle dazzle of the ' ITS LIVE AND IN HDDDD!! " whilst telling me the ''SUPER SUNDAY !! " game will be Villa v Bolton, i'd rather shave my corneas. The ongoing worshipping of the 'sky 4' and the perennial mythical 2nd coming of Liverpool Football Club, and their righteous stance.

The fact these lads earn ( i'm looking at you Mikel ) an alleged £75k a week for a game of footy has made me question my principles, i am personally starting to feel the pinch of this recession, and i can longer legitimately watch this witout feeling a tad stupid, or going to a footy match wearing a £40 replica shirt cheering on these people who are our fake heroes, when usually they are just there for the money.

I think Davek made a good point about not giving a 100% ( Mikel ) who i am using only as an example here - i like Mikky, and believe he is entitled to take his money, as an entertainer like most people in the entertainment business, unlike you and i - who are NOT, we have to WORK and show results for our pennies or we're out on our ears.

I guess my point is this glitz painted by the PL is done for me, i see right through it, it has gone beyond being fake and painted, and the money aspect probably makes it feel worse, particularly as a Blue in our current state.

Nice comments mate, agree to a degree.

It's ironic that the reason they are paid so much is because of us supporting them financially. If there was a boycott it would seriously change the way football is run.

The only football I can watch is when Everton is on.

Man Utd can be entertaining to watch, but everyone else just bores me, I think the rot started in the World Cup for me.

I'm starting to prefer NFL.

I still love watching footie, but Sky piss me off, the BBC/MOTD pisses me off, Everton piss me off, footballers piss me off, managers piss me off... everything about football -- except the 90 minutes in which the game's actually being played -- pisses me off.

To be honest, the only games I like watching on Sky are the Spanish games, no messing about, those men know their stuff. Great inside knowledge thrown in too.

I also love the Ebepton internet games. The more foreign the commentator, the better! (y)

Don't blame you. I've lived without a tv for the past 18 months. Best decision I ever made.

I am with you Bruce, we cancelled all traditional TV back in May. Not only do we not get inundated with a ton of ****e advertisements, we are saving a $60 a month!

I've considered cancelling it recently too. I will always love Everton, but im starting to really loath top flight football and the Premier league for allowing it to become what it has. There's more passion, integrity and soul from players in the lower leagues and to be honest outside the top 8 of the Prem the championship football looks on a par.

I'd never rated rugby previously becuase I thought it was played by fat, unfit blokes that wanted to cuddle every 2 minutes (much like heavyweight boxing nowadays) but i've changed my mind, these lads are strong, fast and immensely powerful and really do show footballers up to be the little pr*cks they are.

I ditched sky on the 17th Jan. Exactly the same reason. How long can you justify paying to watch what is essentially a non competitive league. I think Man City's new owners really illustrated how unlevel the playing field can become overnight. What's the point?
From now on MOTD only and ITV for the CUP. Radio for live games or the Pub if really important.
And the irony of hard up, hard working people, spending a fortune to watch 22 millionaires isn't lost on me.

Make the league competitive and I might get Sky back. Failing that, a multi billionaire for Everton and I might get it back...

Thats the same for me with the NFL. I can only watch the Redskins nowadays. Every other game is really boring to me.

Sometimes, especially if you have experienced the last incarnation of Shanahan and the drama of Cutler/Marshall/Hillis/McDaniels, boring is good, spikeman...

Oh god, I hate the drama that shanahan brings. He did the same for the skins in just one year. But I still love the team and because of that, its the only team I can still watch without being bored, even though I get pissed off all the time.

Got to agree with most of these comments. It's moved from supporting the club you love in order for it to exist and try for honours, to keeping a load of overpaid players who don't really give a **** about the club in a fabulous lifestyle and who don't really 'go for it'. My bond with the blues will never break but ffs I just wish the players felt something similar.

It seems like you've arranged a boycott without even knowing it.

My Uncle cancelled all his Sky, he could afford it, but refused to pay to watch the glamourised spectacle football has become and he was a season ticket holder at Man Utd for years.
