Myself, DM may not let him go til we get Osman back in and maybe Peanut back, just an idea.
If we get our valuation of him then I say sell him and good luck to him, but lets be honest his attitude of late has been a bit off.

Good thing someone had the sense to put a 5M tag on him.

Hey Brum, you ever heard of installments? You pay 3M this year and 2M next year with the money you get for staying up.

Sadly sim i have to agree with you on this point, i REALLY wanted faddy to be great had the potential but didnt work out. sad to say i'd take 5mil for him:(

I'd agree he's got talent but just not enough of it from where are starting to look at now (i.e the top 4) time to take the money and run

I think Brum has got a steal. He has the talent, youth and now he'll be able to play full-time. I think there is a great chance he could bag 15 in the Prem next year.

That being said there was never be a starting place on this current Everton team for him. He was always going to be 2nd choise to Yak, AJ and soon Vannachiebe. But still I'll miss him and hope he does well.

Sorry rook but not a chance, He just doesnt have it in him. He's a scorer of great goals we'v seen that. But he just wont break into double figures IMO anyway.

Good look to him thou, hope he gets to play week in week out. and get plenty of goals.

I don't think he'll score 15 in the Prem next season, he hasn't shown enough of a predatory instinct to give me any indication that he could amass that sort of figure. I could be wrong, but he's only ever gonna score spectacular or sloppy goals, and only occassionally. I agree that it's a good opportunity for him, but I'm not arsed about the welfare of a player who is leaving the club, I'm arsed about the club! So he can [Poor language removed] riiiiiiiiiight off.

Just think, if we had all our strikers available, he wouldn't get a [Poor language removed] look in, at least not upfront, so jib him off and get a tidy amount of cash while we still can is my opinion. Scottish Rooney my arse!

I reckon with a good run of games he could score regularly. I can't remember him ever playing five games up front on the trot for us.
15 might be pushing it though, defo double figures though.
I don't think we can turn down 5 million for him, he is 5th choice up front.
If he goes i'll always look back on him as a good player, that metalist goal was priceless. Who knows how we would be doing if he didn't score that?

Am I missing something??? We all blast the media for making [Poor language removed] up. They have basically decided that he has been sold. Remember, we are in the driving seat and I think Moyes wants to keep him. It may take a couple o'million more than the 5 mooted by the media to get him (I hope). We don't have to sell, we don't want to sell (from Moyes standpoint)

He showed that sort of instinct with Motherwell. Similarly, when he plays for Scotland, he shows that he is capable of scoring goals. Given a run in a team like Birmingham, who will rely on Faddy to do the business, I think he could well slot in around 15 a season. Good luck to the lad, wherever he ends up.

Welcome to the forum.

15 a season? I'd be surprised if he managed that much.

Apparently, rumour has it, he is in Brum now having talks. This comes from Kipper, so not sure of the credibility, but its not beyond the realms of possibility.

Welcome Nebbiolo. (y)

It's apparently a done deal the Motherwell lads are saying.

Anyway, his agent was saying we get 20% of the fee. I still think 5.7m or whatever it is is to high for him.

You're right. 5.7M IS too high for Faddy.

But in today's transfer market prices, it's spot on and we deserve every penny.

Everton might have asked for that because were getting 12.5% - 20% of it. Anyway, i'll need to change my sig and avatar now ;-)
