The piece in the Echo about him the other day was weird, it was written in a tone as if reader should feel some sympathy for him. He came here for no other reason than money and convenience, he's never gave a toss about the team, supporters or his managers.

There was a astonishing stat they included, since he signed we've had 75 first-team games and he's been unavailable for 42 of them. When he consider he's never had a serious injury during that time, it's all been niggles, muscle-pulls and illnesses. Sick-note stuff. I'm a fan of Brands generally but this one really was a blot on his record.
