I remember being in Anfield Rd and Pat Nevin was chopped down across his thighs by Burrows deep in the area. It truly was a stonewall penalty. I looked at the ref and couldn’t believe it when he waved play on. I think that ref was Keith Hackett who later became the League’s Chief Referee.

Didn't know the FA cup had VAR and I didn't know that the Virtual Assistant Referee had an Assistant to Virtually Assist the Virtual Assistant Referee to Assist the Actual Referee who's already got three Assistants at pitch side

The assistant VAR is there to give a penalty to Liverpool just in case the actual VAR forgets to do so for some reason.

Luckily we beat them on the 2nd replay mate. I remember the Nevin challenge though, it really was as stonewall as your likely to see.

Outrageous that you can have partial VAR. 2 of Millwall's goals would have been disallowed last season. Either all or nothing, or at least start it in Round 6 when you can have it in every match.
