We got two white stretch limos from the alehouse about 16 of us filled with ale had parking arrange in a factory near the ground then a in a pub near by which was mostly full of mancs but no bother at all.
Then a stop off and sing song at Warwick on the way back.
Brilliant day
We were in a few pubs around Euston before the game Mancs were ok in their as well, bit of bother getting off at Wembley , but in fairness it was only a few of them acting up , didn't realise we were in the next carriage and were bullying a few blues , my mate Eddie smacked one , and none of the others would get off the train till the coppers escorted us of the platform , shame really as the mancs in are carriage were up for a bit of a laugh and a sing song no bother at all, coppers had been following us from getting off the train at Euston and had video cameras on us most of the day so we were not going to start anything.
On Wembley way we got mixed up with hundreds of southern United singing ,we are the cock of the north,( sorry lads you really aren't, )waving flags all over the place, well till some of are lot snapped a few and scattered them , a load of them ran into a flat building at the side think it was a toilet ?, other than being there I honestly hadn't done a thing, a liverpool copper appeared out of nowhere and said to me, get a grip of your mates or I will nick you,
I had missed the 85 final locked up outside and was on my best behaviour for this one,
I said what are you doing me for standing here watching , I will think of something so do it, well that left me little choice did it officer, it was like herding cats trying to drag the lads back as soon as you got one another was off, till they realised i was going to get lifted and it wasnt a joke.
The copper walked me up all the way to the turnstile, he was ok really said it was for my own good , the lads took the Micky out of me something rotten saying that's the second time you have had your own escort Edge sure your not a plant.
Mancs were fine after the game no bother just talking about the game on the trip back to Euston , good day all around.

I've just watched the 1995 FA Cup Final on Youtube. I've never seen the whole game before because when it was played I was loading an oil tanker at Texaco terminal in Pembroke. I went into the accomodation for a tea break just at the right time to see our winning goal on the only TV on board which was in the officer's lounge. The faces of my, predominantly Manc supporting, crew-mates were priceless. Unfortunately I missed the rest of the game because I had to go back out on deck to continue with the loading, however the Mancs were quiet for a change afterwards. Obviously up until today I didn't know how our boys had actually dominated the game and could have come away with an even bigger victory. The lockdown does have some advantages :pint2::cheers::drunk::celebrate:
Nev rolled back the years majestically.

The Mancs we were talking to in the pub before the game said it was the same with Chelsea the year before but it suddenly flipped and hell broke loose.
They blamed it on Chelsea (sounds familiar )

I still have never forgiven the club for the farce of selling the tickets for the final...
Same here, I queued all night, was near the front and still missed out. Remember driving to Coventry away the next day and feeling utterly dejected everytime a tell me ma chant went round

Shocking the way they did it, my mate a RS lined up for mine as I was in work and I had a season ticket, you could have a ticket for the final as long as you bought an executive travel package from the club think it was something like £145 or something plus the ticket, without ever going the game but season ticket holders were not guaranteed a ticket although we didn't have that many at that point in time.
I was lucky as my mum had a season ticket as well at the time so had a double chance of getting one.

I was on the stubs. Remember being near the church for the bullens Road ticket office, about half four in the morning a steward came round and said the office was opening early, a sudden rush by everyone left the whole of the bullens road on pandemonium, punches being thrown everywhere, the few stewards who were there had no control whatsoever. Never got anywhere near the ticket office. Got picked up outside Walton Hall avenue police station to go to Coventry and the queues where still miles long. Think it made the echo. 94 is still bittersweet for me. Yet to see us lift a cup
