We played one against Leeds. Everyone else on the pitch was either a full international or Distin and nine of our 14 players had league medals an
d CL experience. It was a much stronger team then legend has made it.

We started Junior, Oviedo and Gueye and Anichebe off the top of my head. Thats 4 who would be considered, young,untried,new, not 1st choice, call it what you will. We got well beaten. Yes, giving a few of the fringe may well work, but id rather play a strong team and have no excuses. Try win the game first and not have to chase it again.

We should start with a pretty strong side, give a few young players like Vellios and Barkley a game, then get a few goals up and start to take them off. We don't want another Leeds.

I can't believe some of you are saying play Mucha and the kids. We need to get through, never mind resting most of the team. Fair enough, make 2 or 3 changes but some of the teams getting put on here are laughable.

Anichebe is hardly young or untried and you can argue the same with Gueye.
