FA CUP 6TH ROUD DRAW EVERTON OR OLDHAM VS WIGAN ATHLETIC

We should expect to beat Oldham and Wigan at home. City, United and Blackburn in the semis? If the Manchester sides are drawn against each other then our route to the final wouldn't be too daunting. It would be odd though that it contains four Lancashire sides (Bolton, Oldham, Wigan and Blackburn) and a fifth in the final!

I expect us to scrape by Oldham but really not confident about beating Wigan. Tbh I'm not confident about us beating any team in this current slump of form.

Our players look generally knackered and devoid of confidence. Difficult to see us doing anything other than stutter over the finish line this season.

In the form table (last 6 league games) we're only 3 points behind second-placed Spurs! We're accumulated just 2 points less than either Chelsea or City and 1 less than Arsenal. The only game we've lost is away at United.

Wigan are rank bottom of the form table with 3 defeats and 3 draws in their last 6 matches. They've conceded 2 or more goals in all but one of those games and both United and Chelsea put 4 past them.

I can't help but look at our team at the moment and think we're on the slide unless something drastically changes. Forget about other teams, we've picked up 12 points from the last 8 games and there was some really favourable fixtures in there for us.

We better end up playing at least one game at Wembley this season after this, brilliant draw that today, no getting away from it.

I look at it this way. We've got Oldham at home which we should win. Then Wigan at home. Again, you'd think we have a better than 50/50 chance of winning that one. After that, we have a 50/50 chance of drawing Millwall/Blackburn winner in the semi.

The path is there.

Apart from United anyone can pretty much beat anyone else. Chelsea, City and Arsenal will think that their form could be better and Spurs must be praying that Bale maintains his form and fitness.

Heitinga was largely responsible for the goals conceded against Villa. Southampton have beaten both Arsenal and City at St Marys. Swansea had very little ambition at Goodison and defended well. And Chelsea were quite fortunate. Balance that with wins against Newcastle (A), West Brom (H), Wigan (H) and West Ham (A) and our form has actually been fairly steady.

If we get to wembley can the anti moyes mob offer their tkts to the rest of us.

Who,d want to sit next to those miserable sods before a ball is kicked.

This is a great opportunity for us to get to at least the semis and even further, we have just got to get the job done, can see us beating oldham then drawing to wigan meaning we have to get the win over at theres or something, i bet we won't make it easy for ourselfs.
